Digital Sculpt Selection

We source and audit sculpt files for printability before they enter the catalogue. Files are checked for wall thickness, unsupported spans, and resolution integrity. If a sculpt will not print cleanly at 16K, it does not ship under the 3DFigure Atelier name.

Sculpts are optimised for photopolymer resin, not modified STLs from FDM pipelines. The difference shows in every surface that catches the light.

Slicing & Support Strategy

Each print is manually sliced, not auto-generated. Support placement is chosen by a human who understands where resin fails and where it thrives. Bad supports leave marks; strategic supports leave clean surfaces.

16K Photopolymer Print

Printed at 16K resolution with 0.05 mm layer height. The result: sub-millimetre surface detail, visible fabric weave, true edge sharpness. Not marketing copy, measurable, visible difference.

We use ABS-like photopolymer resin for dimensional stability and long-term display durability. Each print runs its full cure cycle.

Washing & UV Cure

All parts are washed to remove uncured resin, then UV-cured for full structural integrity. Skipping or rushing either step degrades long-term durability, we do not rush either.

Hand Finishing

Supports are removed by hand, the piece is cleaned, and we make sure every part is in good condition before shipping. Painted pieces go through additional finishing and sealing.

Final Inspection

Every figure is inspected under direct light before packaging. We are looking for layer separation, support artefacts, incomplete fills, and surface blemishes. If the figure does not pass, we reprint. No defective figure ships.

Packaging & Dispatch

Each figure is wrapped in foam, packed in a fitted inner box, then double-boxed for shipping. Tracked dispatch with photo documentation. Customers receive a dispatch confirmation and tracking link on the same day it ships.
