16K refers to the horizontal pixel resolution of the printer's LCD panel. Smaller pixels mean sharper lines, finer surface texture, and more accurate edge detail. At 0.05 mm layer height the result holds up under close inspection. You can see fabric weave, individual hairs in sculpted strands, and sharp edges that 4K or 8K printers cannot reproduce at the same scale.

ABS-like photopolymer resin. It is dimensionally stable for long-term display, resists yellowing under UV when properly sealed, and holds fine detail well. We do not use standard ABS or FDM filament. These are MSLA resin prints only.

No. Painted figures need to be assembled before display (light glue, parts ship separately for safe transport). Unpainted figures need to be sanded and prepped before painting or display. Magnetic-build orders snap together without glue.

Most figures are printed in multiple parts to optimise print quality for each section. Parts ship packaged individually so they arrive safely. You assemble them on arrival with super glue. If you choose the magnetic-build option, parts have pre-installed magnets and snap together without glue.

Every figure is printed and finished to order. A 1/8 figure typically takes 3 to 5 days to print, a 1/6 figure 4 to 6 days. Painted figures are scheduled into the painting queue and can take up to one month depending on workload, though many ship sooner. EU delivery is 2 to 4 business days after dispatch. Worldwide is 5 to 10 business days after dispatch. You receive a tracking number when your order ships.

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, before the print run starts. After that, cancellations are not possible because production has already begun.

Yes. Multiple figures ship in one parcel where possible to save on shipping. We will notify you if a figure in a combined order has a different dispatch date.

We ship from Spain (EU) worldwide. All orders are tracked.

Photograph the damage and reach out via our <a href="https://3dfigureatelier.com/commissions/">contact form</a> within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number and photos of both the figure and the packaging. We will arrange a free reprint and reship.

We do not accept returns on change-of-mind orders, as every figure is printed specifically for you. If there is a defect or transit damage, we handle it as above at no cost. For questions about a specific order, contact us directly.

Possibly. If we already have or can source a sculpt file for the character, we can quote you a print and finishing price. If no sculpt file exists, the character would need to be sculpted from scratch. That is a separate commission with a minimum of €350 in addition to the print and paint cost.

A pose change requires the figure to be sculpted again from scratch. That is a custom sculpt commission, minimum €350 on top of the print and paint cost. Alternate paint schemes on existing sculpts are easier and we are happy to quote them.
